Some of you art lovers will be delighted to know that I have just completed my first work of intentionally abstract art (besides the Venetian plaster jobs). Yes, you read me correctly – this work is completely intentional. It also serves as a medal rack for the all those finisher awards (mostly my husbands). It was created from maple wood and inspired by the Japanese language of which I understand almost nothing – I truly hope it doesn’t represent anything too offensive.
It now resides in our designated “pain cave” (or “exercise room” if you prefer) and it seems to look very happy up there on the wall.
